Lorraine joined the Labour Party at 16 some 42 years ago, she believes strongly in the Socialist values of Labour and trade union movements.

Lorraine has helped to deliver FREE swimming for all the children of Fleetwood, and FREE travel on the Tram network for all NOW card users after this was taken away by the Conservative Austerity agenda.

Lorraine is a founding member of The Fleetwood Festive Lights Committee and has been helping light up Fleetwood for well over a decade.

Lorraine says: “Fighting for Fleetwood and the wonderful people who dwell in it has been a privilege, and I am grateful for the chance to support my community and get the voice of the people who live in our lovely town heard.”
