Yesterday, we reported that we had asked officers to make a public report available on the South Lancaster Growth Catalyst decision. Today, we can advise that a public report is now available here.

The report provided is an excerpt from the report provided to councillors. The report usefully refutes some of the misinformation being circulated by other groups and confirms a number of the points made in our explainer – available here.

We would also like to see at least some portion of Wednesday night’s debate take place in public and are trying to find a way through that increases the transparency of this decision but doesn’t increase the risk of this project for both residents and councils.
