Labour created the NHS 70 years ago this month and we are still the only party who will protect and invest in our health services. To mark this occasion we'll be handing out cakes to thank the staff who make our NHS so great, and getting signatures on our giant birthday card which we'll present to staff at the hospital.

Come join us for a fun, relaxed time speaking to locals and hospital users on a street stall - it'll be accessible and you don't need to know any detailed policy.

Thanks to Deborah Finn's incredible handiwork we'll have a cart that will allow us to start the stall in Market Square, gathering signatures on the card, then move through town to the Infirmary where we will continue the stall and present the card. It'll be a fun little procession - bring your kids, their best NHS fancy dress and some cakes, and less celebrate the NHS in style!

We'll be in Market Square 11-1, and outside the RLI 1:30-3.
