Ruth Colbridge
Candidate for Lancaster Central
Ruth is standing as Labour’s candidate for Lancaster Central Division in the Lancashire County Council elections in 2021.
Ruth was born at the RLI and has lived in the division since 2010 after 11 years in London, where she worked for the NHS and in the recycling industry. She is an experienced activist, having worked with other local parents to organise the 2016 kids’ strike against the government’s Standard Assessment Tests.
Ruth has worked in conservation for the past seven years and is passionate about joining up action on climate change and nature recovery with training and work opportunities in green technologies.
